By His Wounds

I thought this would be a good song to post for Easter. Because this song basically talks about the true meaning of Easter, and Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. I have heard this song on the radio, and we sung it in church once. But it popped in my head earlier Friday morning after we watched "The Passion of Christ".

By His Wounds Lyrics
(Feat. Mac Powell, Mark Hall, Steven Curtis Chapman and Brian Littrell)

Isaiah 53:5

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed

We are healed by Your sacrifice
And the life that You gave
We are healed for You paid the price
By Your grace we are saved
We are saved

He was pierced for our transgressions
And crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed

We are healed by Your sacrifice
And the life that You gave
We are healed for You paid the price
By Your grace we are saved
We are saved

He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds, by His wounds we are healed
And by His wounds, by His wounds

What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus

Here is the video I found on Tangle A.K.A Godtube, it was the best one I could find:

"But he was pierced by our transgressions, he was crushed by our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5

Hello Alli!

No, you don't have to have a membership. All you have to do is type in your e-mail and birthday. Oh, when I typeed in my birthday, it calulated how old I was, which is twelve. I was too young to sign up for it. So I just put my moms birthday! I'm not sure how old you have to be. Just type your moms birthday in if your too young!lol.

Happy Easter! I love this song.

I watched the Passion of the Christ about a year ago, it is SO sad, how they beat Jesus in such a way!
Blessings,
Miss Hannah
